Botanica

This five-page story follows the adventures of two friends as they navigate their way to a botanica in a sketchy part of Brooklyn, on a quest to cure all the ills in their lives with Santería. It is a New York story through and through, examining how people cope with the stresses of life in the city, and the many absurd, wacky misadventures and rituals they go through in order to do so. Botanica was published in the anthology Real Life Comix: Only in New York in 2026.
